For children: themed playgrounds
There is plenty of children's entertainment in Bremen featuring the Town Musicians, for example in the Bürgerpark or at the Hanseatenhof.
In the Bürgerpark, the largest privately financed park in Germany, there are climbing frames themed on the fairytale in the small playground on the corner of Findorffallee and Hollerallee. The animals are placed next to each other and on all fours – except for the rooster, of course – and provide no end of fun for the little ones.
The Town Musicians carousel at the Hanseatenhof in the city centre is a popular attraction for children. As it is not machine-powered, children can choose the speed that they want to go. Whether fast or slow, the carousel needs an outside push to get it going. The children then jump aboard as quickly as possible, choosing one of the colourfully painted Town Musician seats. Swings themed on the fairytale animals also belong to the small playground. But wait a minute: the donkey is missing – where might he have gone? Tiny hoof, paw and claw prints with a golden lustre are proof that the Town Musicians have frolicked and played on this very spot.
