Converted stables, world music from all corners of the globe, 'Full Moon Lounge', literature and theatre.
Pferdestall, run by the 'Kunst & Nutzen Atelier e.V' association, is one of the quirkiest venues in and around Bremerhaven – a place for people who are open-minded and curious to explore new horizons.
As a former stables, Pferdestall has its own unique and inspiring atmosphere. Located in the city centre and close to the port, the building was erected in 1905 and used by the Brauns haulage company to house its working animals. Period features from this time have been preserved, such as troughs, tiles and the wrought-iron bars on the decorated arched windows.
Pferdestall is now Bremerhaven's venue for the unusual and unexpected, a place for dynamic art beyond the mainstream – cosmopolitan, enigmatic, original. Artists and audiences appreciate the excellent acoustics which combine with the intimate nature of the venue to produce particularly memorable events.
