Gran Turismo & Isle of Man Tourist Trophy
From the 1950s onwards, going on long tours by car became one of the big aspirations. The grand tourers and elegant 2+2 seaters that were developed right into the 1970s, as comfortable as a limousine and faster than a sports car, became the dream cars of entire generations. Ten of the most beautiful examples of this historical vehicle type will feature in the ‘Gran Turismo 2+2: Jet Set on the Road’ exhibition at the Bremen Classic Motorshow from Friday, 2 February to Sunday, 4 February 2018 at Bremen Exhibition Centre. The second exhibition at the show is dedicated to one of world’s oldest and most famous motorcycle races, the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT). The race was a showpiece for British manufacturers and racers well into the 1960s. ‘Best of British – The TT Legends’ features 20 motorcycles from the TT’s greatest eras, including four original TT winners.
