Start your day in maritime Bremen with a visit to the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS). Here, a volunteer provides an insight into the humanitarian tasks of the search and rescue team. Funded solely by donations*, the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service covers the entire German North Sea and Baltic Coasts. Afterwards, a tour guide takes you on a walk along the Schlachte Embankment where you can watch the boats and ships.
