Bremen´s 'drawing room' is the Marktplatz, and its greatest attraction is the Town Hall. Guided tours of the historic building provide an insight into its fascinating 600-year history. The tour includes the impressive Upper Town Hall and a look into the splendid Golden Chamber. Since 2004, the Town Hall and the Roland have been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
€ 6.50 per person, free for children aged 12 or under accompanied by an adult.
Wheelchair users can take the tour of the town hall free of charge. Their companion (B on the ID card) pays full price. Holders of disability identification cards (>50%) receive a 20 per cent discount.

Due to the way events are scheduled in the town hall, tour dates are only released for booking around one month in advance.
The town hall is closed to visitors during official receptions, council sessions and other events. Private group tours available by prior arrangement.
Backpacks and shopping bags are not permitted on the tour of the town hall for security reasons. They can be left, at your own risk, in the unattended cloakroom in the foyer during the guided tour.
