German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS)
By prior arrangement, you can enjoy a free tour of the DGzRS site.
Models of ships from all periods of the over 150-year history of the DGzRS are on display in the presentation room (50 seats). In the outdoor area, you can see the decommissioned H.-J. KRATSCHKE lifeboat.
A film screening and a look around the repair workshop round off the tour. Please note that the tour is only available by prior arrangement and lasts approx. 90 mins.
The work of the maritime rescue service is financed solely by grants and donations. The patron of the DGzRS is the President of Germany.
