Worpsweder Kunsthalle art gallery
Works by local artists have been exhibited and sold here since the early days of the artists' colony.
The master bookbinder Friedrich Netzel began exhibiting works by artists from the Worpswede colony when it was first established. His son continued this tradition and commissioned the building which today serves both to display and to sell works of art. Worpsweder Kunsthalle offers the best overview of the artistic history of this area.
